Our department was established in 1997-1998 within the framework of "Restructuring of Education Faculties". Our education and training area is continued in Anafartalar Campus.
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM:
Our aim is to train teachers who are qualified to be art teachers, who can evaluate art in terms of its history and its impact on social culture, who have the ability to make people love art, who are constructive in human relations, who are empathetic, who are sufficiently equipped to transfer information, and who can also direct our art, follow the current situation and share fresh information.
MAJOR COURSES TAUGHT IN THE PROGRAM:
In our department; There are Master Art, Pattern, Modeling and Sculpture, Printmaking, Design, and Writing workshops. Ninety-eight students are studying in the applied courses given in our workshops, and our students have the opportunity to work in comfortable and bright spaces.
In the ANASART WORKSHOP course, the student gets the opportunity to improve himself technically and takes steps to produce works that reflect his original ways of perception.
In the PATTERN course, the student develops the skills of taking measurements and establishing and observing objects and proportions between objects.
In the BASIC DESIGN course, the student; Learns the rules of composition design, in the WRITING course, students learn the types of writing and spelling rules with the awareness of order and discipline.
In the SCULPTURE and MODELING course, three-dimensional perception, shaping disciplines, and techniques are given.
The PRINT PAINTING course covers techniques for reproducing original paintings with different materials (such as Linol, Zinc, and Wood).
Our Educational Sciences and other theoretical courses are held in our Seminar Hall and classrooms.
After graduation, our students; graduate as Art and Business Education teacher candidates. The grade level they will get from the KPSS exam will fulfill the requirement for them to be able to do their profession.
Cultural and Artistic events; At the Department of Art Education; At the end of the academic year, they hold exhibitions of our students' printmaking and canvas paintings. Our students participate in various competitions with their personal efforts, guided by the announcements we make. Senior students open group or personal exhibitions through their personal initiatives. Applied performance studies (workshops) are held with art educators whom we invite on certain dates.
