Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Academic Choir Begins…

Çanakkale is an important choir center of our country. Our educational and artistic work in the field of polyphonic choir, which has been going on for many years within our university, as well as the International Çanakkale Choirs Festival, Çanakkale Children's Choirs Festival organizations that we have carried out by integrating with public institutions and organizations, and the children's and adult choirs that have been going on for many years, in order to make Çanakkale a choir center. We are proud of our work.
We are also proud to be a city and university that integrates with our city and is known for its choir music abroad and in our country.

In order to create a new choir culture in our ongoing valuable work in the field of choir; With the support of our Rectorate, in cooperation with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University State Conservatory, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Education GSEB Music Teaching Department, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts and Çanakkale Provincial Directorate of National Education.

It has been decided to establish the "Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Academic Choir".

Their work was carried out by Choir Chief Prof. Dr. Emel Funda Türkmen and Choir Conductor Lecturer. See. To our academic choir who will perform with Mete Gökçe; From the participatory choir perspective, students who are currently actively studying and graduating in the field of music at our university and music teachers of our city will be able to apply.

Our choir will complete its establishment phase with the acceptance of choristers in line with the determined principles and principles of the choir; It will carry out its work in a culture that will serve the choir field, especially choir performances, festivals, competitions and projects in the national and international arena, and choir workshops and organizations in the academic field.
